Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 19, 2026 · Last Updated: June 19, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how LOUSOL Corp (“LOUSOL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit https://lousol.com (the “Site”), request a quote or consultation, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services. It also describes the choices and rights you have regarding your information.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you request a consultation, quote, or appointment, sign up for communications, contact support, or otherwise interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, mailing/installation address, ZIP code, phone number, project details and preferences, and the contents of your messages.

Order and transaction information. If you purchase a product (directly or through an authorized dealer), we or the dealer may collect billing and shipping addresses, product and installation details, and payment information. Payment card details are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers.

Account and configurator information. If you create an account or use a design tool or configurator, we collect the information you enter and the configurations or designs you generate.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, clickstream activity, and the dates and times of your visits, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from authorized dealers and installers, advertising and analytics partners, and other service providers who help us operate our business.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations, quotes, and appointments;
  • Connect you with authorized dealers or installers and facilitate your project;
  • Process and fulfill orders, deliveries, installations, and warranty registrations;
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our products and services;
  • Personalize content and send you marketing and promotional communications (where permitted);
  • Conduct analytics and understand how the Site is used;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and misuse; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

A single piece of information may be used for more than one of these purposes at the same time.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver and measure advertising — including interest-based advertising on third-party platforms.

Most browsers let you control or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may limit some features of the Site. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).

We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information as follows:

  • Authorized dealers and installers — to provide quotes, schedule consultations, fulfill orders, and perform installation and service in your area.
  • Service providers — vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, email and communications, customer support, payment processing, and order fulfillment, who are restricted to using the information for those services.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — to help us measure and deliver advertising. Depending on your jurisdiction, some of this activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising; see Section 7 for your opt-out rights.
  • Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of LOUSOL, our users, or others; or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent — in other cases where you have directed or permitted us to share your information.

6. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Where required by law, we will notify you of a data breach affecting your information.

7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Access, correction, and deletion. You may request to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, and we may retain certain information where required by law.

Marketing communications. You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in any such email, or by contacting us. We may still send you non-promotional, transactional messages about your requests, orders, or service.

Targeted advertising / “Do Not Sell or Share.” You may opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising or any “sale” or “sharing” by contacting us at sales@lousol.com, or by using a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control.

U.S. state privacy rights. Depending on your state of residence (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others), you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information;
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal information;
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of your personal information; and
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with appropriate proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may have the right to appeal by replying to our decision.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our services, comply with our legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods depend on the nature and sensitivity of the information and applicable legal requirements.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
